The Portuguese community in New York City is proud to bring to the city that never sleeps a flavor of Portugal's culture, food and warmth. Join us and bring your family and friends, and travel across the Atlantic Ocean without leaving Central Park, in a morning full of excitement and fun activities for the whole family.

Portugal Day NY has had the honor of obtaining the High Patronage of His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, Aníbal Cavaco Silva. This is a reflection of the importance the event has in the promotion of Portugal and its culture.

We would like to bring the following topics to your attention:

• Registration - Registration for the adults race (5M / 8Kms) is now closed. Maximum capacity was reached by mid April.

• Volunteers - An event like Portugal Day NY would not be possible without the help of volunteers. Thus, if you would like to be part of the team of volunteers that on race day help at the festival tents, cheer the runners as they go through the race course, etc. please visit the volunteers page for detailed information on how to enroll.
